We will cover the fundamental principles of Scrum, qualifying you as a Certified ScrumMaster. More importantly, you will get the opportunity to learn to deal with the obstacles that confront Scrum teams and you will leave much better equipped to put Scrum in to practice and succeed with it.

This three day class will add extra focus on long term planning (release, product) and supply participants with suggestions to work on mixed projects (more traditional environments) and large organizations. Pros and cons of advanced variants to agile project management including kanban and lean will be discussed and experienced in simulations. The three-day approach allows participants to share their own experience and concerns in extra exercises and Q&A sessions. The workshop will allow practice to be added to theory so that delegates have practical takeaways that can be used with co-workers upon return to work.

Please note that this class is fast-paced and will focus on Estimation and Planning (for product, sprint and release) and Kanban (lean method).

Certification: The course leads to ScrumMaster Certification which includes 2 years free membership to the Scrum Alliance where additional ScrumMaster-only material and information are available. In addition, PMI members can claim up to 21 PDUs upon completing this course. Based on her more than 15 years experience in the Agile community, Martine will be giving you insights and a depth of approach that is unique for this course.
