SpeedCoding London 2011: Beyond basic TDD "just like speed dating... but with code... and better"

Inspired by an openspace session at CITCON London on practices and techniques that take people beyond basic TDD, we have organised four intensive hands-on coding workshops in 2011 to explore the advanced topics of test driven development and object design. In the traditional Shu-ha-ri model, this workshop is on the second ("Ha" - detach) level. At the second level, students are expected to stop blindly following a single way of doing things and learn the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches.

Important - Please note: Delegates are requested to bring their own laptop to this course as Skills Matter does not provide this. If you are unable to bring a laptop for the course, please contact the sales team to discuss our laptop hire rates on +44 207 183 9040 or email sales@skillsmatter.com

LEARN HOW TO:
  • get more out of unit testing and TDD
  • show pros and cons of various approaches to TDD design
  • understand how others approach solving the same problem
  • evolve design with TDD to make it fit for purpose now but also ready for the future
