Graeme Rocher's Groovy and Grails Workshop (GROOVY-GRAILS-02-03)
CODE: GROOVY-GRAILS-02-03          DURATION: 3 DAY/S
Graeme Rocher's 3 day Groovy & Grails workshop covers both Groovy and Grails in great detail. Following a thorough introduction to the Groovy & Grails technologies, you will then learn about the many advanced aspects of the Groovy programming language and Grails web application framework. This workshop quickly takes you beyond the basics and on to the more powerful aspects of both Groovy and Grails. You should expect a lot of hands-on interactive lab work.

Having established the basics of the Groovy language, you will first construct a Grails application by examining the domain model used to generate a basic application. You will then use Grails to build on the application through a series of practical exercises, interspersed with tutorials delivered by a SpringSource certified trainer.

Upon completing this course, you will have the necessary skills to construct a Grails application, with sound knowledge of all the core concepts from the web to the persistence layer. You will also learn key development best practices, enabling you to develop high quality code.
