In this 3 day Hyperic Training course, you will learn how to maximize the knowledge of an enterprise's IT Ops Desk Operator to monitor and manage its IT assets with Hyperic HQ system.
The course gives you knowledge to understand basic HQ concepts, to work with HQ system and basic understanding how to incorporate it to your corporate network. The course will also give you a basic knowledge how custom plug-ins are used and created.
LEARN HOW TO:
- Monitor the health and well-being of operating systems
- Monitor the health of VMs, app servers, web servers, databases, messaging servers, authentication systems and more
- Create detailed reporting and analysis on critical data that analyze IT and web operations service levels, resource utilization efficiency, exception reports and operations strategies
- Use Hyperic HQ for managing virtualized applications. Enabling integrated management of physical infrastructure, virtualization technologies and business applications

To benefit from this course, you should be familiar with using a browser, and monitoring and managing IT assets.
COURSE LABS & EXERCISES
For scheduled public training events, we generally (unless otherwise indicated) provide a fully configured lab PC for your use. You may bring your laptop, but it is not necessary. For on-site training, SpringSource also offers the possibility of arranging a development machine for you. More information about the availability of computers is available when registering for this course.
