ADOBE RIA USER GROUP : INTRODUCTION TO ADOBE BLAZEDS & LIVECYCLEDS
|
Following on from the first meeting in August on "Introduction to Flex" we’ll use this session to explore different approaches to integrating Flex applications with backend data.
Ben Forsaith and Richard Curtis from Adobe will move beyond HTTP and Web Services and introduce Remoting using the open source BlazeDS software. We’ll walk through a series of practical examples to introduce using BlazeDS to access backend Java objects and cover BlazeDS Spring integration (look out for future sessions advanced sessions on these areas).
We’ll also be discussing the differences between BlazeDS and LiveCycleDS, and demonstrate the upcoming fiber (codename) technology which brings model-driven development to Flex developers.
