Track 1
9:30 - 10:15 VISUALISING QUALITY
Gojko Adzic: Join Gojko Adzic for an exploration of different ways to
measure and visualise quality of software. View the podcast here...
10:30 - 11:15 DRIVING REQUIREMENTS FROM BUSINESS VALUE
Chris Matts: In this talk, Chris Matts presents feature Injection, a lightweight process that starts with the half baked solution and uses it to work out what business value should be delivered. View the podcast here...
11:30 - 12:15 BDD AS IT'S MEANT TO BE DONE
Matt Wynne: This session will be a kata-style tutorial. Working from a single Cucumber scenario, Matt will drive out a domain model, then like a BDD magician, he'll slip in a user interface around the domain model *without touching the tests*. View the podcast here...
13:15 - 14:15 EVOLVING THE BIG PICTURE: MAPS OF LIVING DOCUMENTATION
Christian Hassa: This talk covers an end-to-end approach for requirements engineering in agile projects, starting with planning the big-picture, detailing scope using specification-by-example and putting it all together in the end by organizing automated acceptance tests into maps of living documentation. View the podcast here...
14:30 - 15:15 WHAT TESTERS AND DEVELOPERS CAN LEARN FROM EACH OTHER
David Evans: In this talk, David Evans presents a number of lessons that testers intrinsically
understand about software that would be valuable to developers, and vice
versa. He also looks at the lessons that we all need to learn in order to work
more effectively together. View the podcast here...
15:30 - 16:15 WHERE EXPLORATION AND AUTOMATION MEET: GETTING THE MOST FROM AUTOMATED FUNCTIONAL TESTS
Andrew Kemp: Agile teams invest heavily in automated functional tests. When done well, this investment is paid back with fast feedback enabling teams to release software quickly and often. By structuring tests in the right way, teams can further leverage this investment by using these tests as a platform for exploratory testing that could find issues a regression test suite won't. 16.30 - 17.15 SPECIFYING USER INTERACTION
Lasse Koskela: In this session, Lasse Koskela will incorporate ideas from user-centered design and explore a method of specifying user-facing application features he has evolved over the past few years at Reaktor. View the podcast here...
