Programming Linux with Lua - Justin Cormack (@justincormack)

This talk looks at ljsyscall, a project to expose the Linux kernel interface to Lua, everything from files and sockets to networking, processes and timers. Using the new LuaJIT ffi interface makes this easier than it might otherwise be, and it has the performance of C code. This will cover what you can do, and some helpful hints about interfacing with C code.
