HADOOP USER GROUP UK : ZOOKEEPER: THE STATE OF THE ZOO

ZooKeeper is an open-source distributed coordination platform
that brings robust, reliable and available coordination primitives such
as locking to a number of projects, including HBase. In this talk I will
give an introduction to ZooKeeper and its programming model, peek
briefly under the covers at its internal implementation and give an
overview of where the project is heading in the short and medium term.
