It is summer time again in London. Another year and another step in the pertual change of progress: let us consider the state of the art please. We have a bunch of wonderful technologies awaiting our pleasure of development, including OpenJDK 7, JDK 7, Scala, Groovy, Grails, JavaFX, Griffon, SEAM Framework, JavaServer Faces, Fan, JRuby, Jython and many others in known use, if not yet common use. It feels like a wonderful summer again in terms of software development and design.
