SPRING EXCHANGE 2009 29-01-09

Following the success of the Spring eXchange 2008, Skills Matter and SpringSource joined up forces again and organised another one in January 2009!

The event was a real success, comprising of 1-day worth of sessions and talks. Attendees learned all about the Spring Portfolio from the Spring expert in each area. Sessions include:
  • Rod Johnson provided the keynote on the Spring Portfolio.
  • Adrian Colyer, SpringSource CTO and Project Lead Rob Harrop provided an introduction to dm Server.
  • Spring Batch expert, Dave Syer gave a talk on scaling batch applications in the enterprise.
  • Alef Arendsen explained all about the new features in the Spring Framework 3.0
  • Adrian Colyer and Rob Harrop, provided insights into Tomcat in Enterprise.

The day ended with a Q&A session were attendees had the ability to ask in-depth questions to the Spring experts.
