SPRING UG NORTH WEST : BUILDING REST APPLICATIONS WITH SPRING FRAMEWORK 3.0
With the advent of Spring Framework 3.0, users have access to a comprehensive REST solution based on the popular Spring @MVC model. In this session, Rob Harrop, SpringSource Principal Software Engineer will create a full REST application from scratch. Attendees will learn how to:
- Setup and configure Spring Framework 3.0
- Support flexible REST URIs using path mappings
- Handle multiple content types
- Write a simple REST client
- Modularise REST applications using dm Server and OSGi
This session will be heavily demo-driven and, hopefully, full of audience interaction. Attendees should be familiar with Spring Framework.
Wednesday 8th April 2009
