Francis Sanger is specialised in Agile software development, object oriented analysis, design and implementation using agile techniques and works with as a trainer, developer and coach on projects large and small.
Francis has spent over 95% of his working life on some aspect of software development, the first half principally training programmers, the second developing software and showing others how to.
He took his first tentative steps in object oriented programming around twenty years ago, using Lisp-based development tools, but it was using and teaching Smalltalk that really developed his understanding of the object oriented way and the nature and value of agile methods. He continually hones and broadens his skills and now applies them mostly in Java and .NET contexts.
