About Cleve Gibbon
Cleve Gibbon is CTO at Cognifide and has been writing software for over twenty years. He regularly contributes articles for InfoQ and writes on his blog about project delivery and software development.
For the last ten years he has been searching relentlessly for pragmatic answers to simple questions that have proven to be damned hard to find. How do you create software that people like you and me value? What does it take to build great teams? What measures can I take to aggressively eliminate waste in the projects that I run? What are other people doing to answer these questions?
Cleve has a solid background in delivering large scale, transactional systems from inception through to deployment across a wide range of sectors including education, investment banking and media. Before joining Cognifide in 2006, Cleve trained and mentored Fortune 100 companies and project managed, architected and developed a number of next generation trading/sales-based applications. With a strong academic background, Cleve continues to lecture, provide commentary and write papers within the software industry.
