About Michael McCarthy

Michael McCarthy has been a developer at Gamesys for the last four years,
primarily as part of the team that looks after the real-time chatting and
community aspects of the software. Michael specialises in server side
development, in particular Java with XMPP, with some occasional dabbling
in Flex and Groovy. Clean code, lots of tests and well-written APIs make
him happy. One day Michael will make good on his ambition to pick up the
Uberman Sleep Schedule and actually get round to committing to all those
open source projects he has been meaning to.
