Rob Harrop is the CTO of First Banco.
Rob was the co-founder of SpringSource, the software company behind the wildly-successful Spring Framework (now part of VMWare).
He is a specialist in high-volume, high-scale enterprise systems and is the author and co-author of five books, including the highly-popular Spring Framework reference "Pro Spring".
A popular speaker at Skills Matter In-the-Brain sessions, eXchanges and international conferences, Rob's strength is his particular flair for understanding and solving complex design issues.
With a thorough knowledge of both Java and .NET, Rob has successfully deployed projects across both platforms. He has extensive experience across a variety of sectors, in particular retail and government.
