About Gobe Hobona

Gobe Hobona is a researcher in the Centre for Geospatial Science at the University of Nottingham. He is the lead software engineer on the SPACER project. He holds a PhD in geoinformatics from Newcastle University. He is a member of the IEEE Computer Society and is the technical representative of the University of Nottingham at the Open Geospatial Consortium. Gobe is a member of the Science & Technology Committee of the Group on Earth Observations, which coordinates the development of the Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS).
