After my physics and chemistry masters, I started working at a small software company where we built a CMS and websites. Wanting to deepen my knowledge of the field, I started the software technology master at Utrecht University. Many courses used Haskell, and I fell in love with the elegance of functional programming. After graduating, I joined what is now Silk. There, I use functional programming to build a web
application to create and visualize structured data.
