Skills Matter is committed to remaining at the forefront of new technology and helping customers learn about how best to exploit technology through training and events.
Our First Teach course programme helps customers learn about the very latest technologies whilst helping to evaluate these exciting new offerings for future delegates - and all at up to
half the usual price!
How It Works
Skills Matter works closely with the course author to develop a new course at the ‘bleeding edge’ of open source technology. This is achieved by only working with the true technology experts (technology inventor, key project committers, world famous experts) and developing training programmes that are relevant to the community.
During the First Teach of any new course, there may be some minor tweaks that may need to be made for future deliveries. This is part of Skills Matter’s continuous training quality review process to ensure we maintain our excellent evaluation feedback from delegates. To offset these First Teach tweaks, we offer seats at half the usual price to delegates.
What We Ask From You
In return for you receiving the course at half price, we ask that you:
- Complete a detailed honest evaluation of all aspects of the course. This is crucial for the course instructor to ensure that any tweaks can be applied before the next course delivery.
- If you enjoyed the course, provide a quote that can be used in Skills Matter marketing collateral (upon approval by delegate’s management)
- Blog/Twitter about the course to encourage as many in the community to benefit from the training
The First Teach programme allows you to be part of the community and help to shape the direction of Skills Matter’s technology curriculum in the future!
