In The Brain of Greg Gigon: Agile multitasking and context switching
Agile multitasking and context switching
Multitasking is by-product of a modern civilization. Thanks to today's technology we can do many things at the same time.
Thinking that this could improve our performance and make possible to achieve more, couldn't be more wrong. Television, radio, computers and surrounding environment are bombarding us with millions of stimulus that our brain can't handle. We all get tangled into a task or context switching. As a source of it, we interrupt others work. As victims, we are interrupted by others.
This session will try to explain psychological basics how brain deals with a task switching and provide tips in a form of agile practices, that might help managers and teams to deal with it.
