TYPE OF PROJECTS YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
You will be working on lots of exciting projects at Beyond. to give you an idea of the type of work we do, below are some examples of recent projects:
Rethinking Digital through creativity
Client: YouTube: Pink Floyd: Greatest gig in the sky
Challenge: How can YouTube appeal to existing Pink Floyd fans and attract new ones through a live audio version of “Us & Them”?
Beyond Solution: The Greatest Gig in the Sky, a Pink Floyd global streaming event featuring an unreleased live performance of Dark Side of the Moon, allowing fans to join the concert on the hour every hour was designed and developed.
The performance, exclusive footage and the real-time social feeds made this an unforgettable once-in-a lifetime streaming event for global Pink Floyd fans. Beyond built the channel using the YouTube Chromeless player, our conversation gadget, comments moderation and promotion systems, and a HTML5 player fallback for iPad users. This was enhanced by a user generated CSS3 animations synched with the video, and a Floydian customer map overlay with geo located user generated content.
Results: The channel launched in September 2011 and had 120,000 views in 2 days.
Rethinking Digital through Influencer analysis
Client: NSPCC/ Childline
Challenge: How can the NSPCC/Childline understand where under 18s go to talk about their problems online in order
to reach and support them?
Beyond Solution: Online conversation analysis to get insight into topics under 18s discussed online.
Beyond discovered that most influential sites were focused on adult audiences which hadn’t been identified for media buys using audience demographics so developed and executed a content seeding plan to better reach Childline’s audiences.
Results: The insight from Beyond resulted in Childline modifying their strategy in order to successfully reach and help their target audience.
