The Flow Experiment
Flow is an important part of a Lean Enterprise, and understanding how to achieve flow and how a process impacts on flow is very useful. This activity session will explore different styles of process, showing how flow is affected with each one. Teams will work to deliver value through a workflow, repeating the simulation with different policies in place each time. The amount of work in process will be captured throughout, and from this data, Cumulative Flow Diagrams will be generated to visualise the workflow. A facilitated discussion will be held to explore the practical application of the results.
