Uncle Bob's Agile Principles Patterns Practices & Planning

Uncle Bob returns to Skills Matter in October to deliver his new five-day course on the key Agile principles for OO development. This is the only scheduled date in 2013.

During this five-day course, Uncle Bob introduces the Principles, Patterns and Practices of professional Agile Object-Oriented development in Java and Agile Planning and Estimating. You will learn through a balanced combination of lectures and hands-on exercises that reinforce the concepts and practices. Next course date: October 21st - October 25th

Uncle Bob Martin's Clean Code: Agile Software Craftsmanship

Even bad code can function. But if code isn't clean, it can bring a development organisation to its knees. Every year, countless hours and significant resources are lost because of poorly written code. But it doesn't have to be that way. In this three-day Clean Code Workshop you will learn the principles and practices of Clean Code as described in Robert C. Martin's book: Clean Code: A Handbook of Agile Software Craftsmanship.

Next course date: July 8th & 9th

Gojko Adzic's Test Driven Development Workshop

This hands-on, two-day workshop immerses you deeply in Test Driven Development. You'll be coding straight from the start, interrupted only by very short presentations to explain the practices to put things into a wider perspective. It is based on the very latest tools, current knowledge and ideas from the community. This workshop was authored by Gojko Adzic and is delivered by Damjan Vujnovic.

However, CI/CD requires a shift in mindset throughout the team and organisation. Attend this course delivered by CI/CD expert Paul Stack to learn how to cope with these changes, understand how to work efficiently with tools, and put in place good practices for CI/CD can have a drastic improvement on your project, team and organisation.
