An End-to-End JavaScript Stack
JavaScript, an easy to approach yet challenging to master language, has won in the browser because it is everywhere. It's compelling approach for creating event-driven applications, combined with incredibly rapid invention in the open-source world, is leading to an incredible opportunity to redefine the stack.
Sometimes the complexity and quantity of choice is overwhelming, which unfortunately creates great opportunity for vendor lock-in due to the natural economic cycles of revolution, consolidation, and innovation.
Even most open source projects are difficult to leave once you've invested heavily in a specific approach, but JavaScript's incredibly flexible nature presents an opportunity to deliver a truly open stack with easily swappable components. In this talk, Dylan Schiemann unveils their first steps at making this idea a reality for your application.
