In The Brain of Peter Elst: What's new in ActionScript 3.0
What's new in ActionScript 3.0
In this session Peter Elst explained what ActionScript 3.0 is capable of and how you can take advantage of it in your projects.
Flash has come a long way since the dawn of the unfortunate ‘skip intro’ phenomena that swept the web in the late 90’s. Especially when it comes to its scripting language ActionScript things have evolved spectacularly. Based on the ECMAScript standard, version 3.0 of the language is now able to do things never thought possible on the web.
In this session Peter Elst, demonstrated exciting new features that are now available to developers, showed awe inspiring open source projects including several 3D engines, protocol implementations and much more.
Delegates walked away with a thorough understanding of what ActionScript 3.0 is capable of and how you can take advantage of it in your projects.
