What's new in GWT 2.X
In this free talk, Adrian Buerki, author of Getting Started with the Google Web Toolkit Workshop, will present the Google Web Toolkit (GWT) which is a modern web development environment. With version 2.0 and 2.1, GWT has some exciting new features. This session will give you an overview of current GWT features and highlight some of its brand new functionality. The session starts with a basic introduction to GWT. Then some of the most important features and new functionality will be covered. The new development mode, Speed Tracer, Code Splitting and the improved layout panels to name some key features.

Note: Adrian will be beaming in from his home in Switzerland to deliver this session via Skype. Don't miss the chance to have your GWT questions answered by Adrian, and network with the Skills Matter community.

Adrian Buerki's Getting started with the Google Web Toolkit

This 2 day course on getting started with the Google Web Toolkit will teach you how to create Rich Internet Applications using GWT. The course is designed to get you going as quickly as possible. It starts with a brief introduction to the world of GWT. Dmitry Buzdin's Advanced Google Web Toolkit

Dmitry Buzdin's 2-day Advanced Google Web Toolkit: Large-Scale GWT Development will provide a set of advanced patterns and practices for attendees with existing GWT hands-on experience on how to design and implement production-ready, large-scale applications. The important topics, which are discussed during the course are security, performance, integration with existing frameworks and technologies (Spring, JPA2). The course is based on real-world experience and state-of-the-art approaches used in latest GWT framework versions. Find out more here

Brian Sletten's Semantic Web Technologies Bootcamp

Brian Sletten's five day Semantic Web Technologies Bootcamp provides a broad, example-driven and compelling vision of computing's future. Organisations are struggling with data integration solutions that operate at the wrong level of abstraction or are shackled to legacy systems with no idea of how to modernize incrementally. Their service-oriented architectures decompose business processes into services without the ability to identify and protect the information that flows through these services. In this course, you will learn how the technical and business value of Web semantics is available and useful today behind firewalls as well as on the public Web.
