Introducing Apache Mahout
Mahout's goal is to build scalable, Apache licensed machine learning libraries. Initially, the interest is on building out the ten machine learning libraries detailed in here using Hadoop. While these algorithms are the initial focus, contributions of other machine learning approaches are welcomed. You can visit the Apache Mahout home page here The wiki page for the project is this .
