Manik Surtani will introduce the concept of a Hackathon and what we want to achieve here, the rules of play, etc. He'll kick start with a session on Infinispan followed by an introduction of Infinispan, a high level overview for people not familiar with the project, its relationship to cloud computing.

Manik is a core R&D engineer at JBoss and lead on JBoss Cache. Manik has a background in artificial intelligence and neural networks, a field he left behind after leaving academic circles for the commercial world.
