Continuing our impressive series of free seminars, Dave Syer will be the keynote speaker at our next Spring User Group event taking place in Manchester on Tuesday 11th August. Dr David Syer (SpringSource’s Principal Consultant in Europe) is surely the ultimate authority on the use of Spring technology within the UK.
Well known as lead committer to the Spring Batch project as well as having a major influence throughout SpringSource, Dave will be sharing insight into the use of Spring Batch, showing some demonstrations and unveiling enhancements (scalability, XML config, Java 5…) within Spring Batch 2.0. In addition he has promised some interesting thoughts on the long awaited Spring Framework 3.0. Spring Batch and the new features in Spring 3.0 were the top two requested topics following the last very successful Manchester SUG.
