DDD UK User Group:What I've learnt since I read the book(let)
What I've learnt since I read the book(let)
In this video,Phil Wills shares his real life experiences implementing the concept of Domain Driven Design and also what he has learnt from reading the booklet.
He began by giving a background on his talk.
Phil pointed out that entities should not be the default option and he also said that this could be a real struggle.
He explained that the solution to this is the use of value objects.
Moving in greater details, He also talked on some other key issues, like modeling and contexts, using the right language, and the psychological hurdles encountered.
He concluded his talk by sharing his final thoughts and answering questions from his audience.
