Sky Identity
 At this event, around 10 Tech Companies will pitch their coding projects in a series of 5-minute lightning sessions to software developers looking for interesting, agile projects using progressive technologies.
Sky is a valued part of everyday life in over one in three homes throughout the country. As the boundaries between entertainment and communications disappear, we are helping our customers seize the exciting and inspiring new opportunities created by this technological revolution.

At Sky we use Agile methodology to help us deliver bespoke cutting edge solutions to millions of customers across the web, mobile, broadcast and interactive world.
We’ve also moved beyond traditional testing and developing and use the likes of Groovy & Grails, Cucumber, Ruby, Python, PostgreSQL, Jetty and Cloud computing.
From developing customer facing websites like Sky.com, to interactive TV and mobile apps like Sky Sports and Sky News for iPad to providing the technology behind our business critical customer systems, our focus is to always put the user in control and provide them with choice. CIS has a really broad remit, so you’ll get the chance to go far and do some really great things too.
