This tutorial introduces application development with Grails by real-world examples.We start with basic, database-oriented web applications that we extend and finish in the course of the workshop – following the best practices that make real Grails projects successful. Our code will be mainly in Groovy, optionally enriched with Java. Grails gives us a seamless integration between both together with sophisticated IDE support.
