Droidcon UK 2012 (October 25th-26th)

Droidcon London is famous for its unconventional and innovative format that mixes dynamic social activities on day 1 with conference sessions on day 2. On the first 'barcamp'-style day, delegates are invited to present short talks based on their professional interests. Everyone's participation is encouraged to cultivate the day's atmosphere of camaraderie in debate. Alongside the day's dynamic content is a selection of activities, displays, and talks. The second day takes a more traditional approach with keynote presentations and 4 tracks of talks devoted to the best in current Android development, design and business.

The task and the community may vary widely, but the concepts of social objects and the smallest useful application (or minimum viable product) give focus to the design of the application. Gavin Bell’s two day Creating Social Applications course teaches you how to create social applications for the web or mobile, as described in his book. Find out more here
