London Spring User Group:Grails eye for the Spring guy
Grails eye for the Spring guy
Grails is a next generation, dynamic web and high productivity web application development environment. In this tongue-in-cheek talk, Russ Miles will take us through developing highly interactive web applications using Grails making no assumptions about previous experience with Grails or the language it relies upon, Groovy.
Grails itself is built 'on the shoulders of giants' in that it uses many leading open source technologies under the hood to deliver on its high productivity promise. As well as lots of Grails code samples, we'll also be digging deep underneath the Grails hood to see how these technologies, Spring in particular, underpin our Grails activities.
