London Haskell:Lambda|Wars
Lambda|Wars
As part of the London Haskell user group we have started a project to create a RoboWars like bot arena. If you are interested in building the arena, the bots or just want to write some Haskell come along to the inaugural LambdaWars meetup. There is no minimum Haskell experience level so anyone is welcome.

Come along and bring your laptop, we will be coding.

For more info check out the Wiki

Refreshments from 6pm. Meeting starts at 6-30pm and we will head to the pub afterwards.

Well-Typed's Fast Track to Haskell

Want to learn how to use Haskell, its type system design and functional programming concepts? And find out how to use the features that make Haskell unique even among functional languages? Join Haskell expert Andres Loh on February 4-5th (2013) and learn how you can use Haskell's excellent capabilities for abstraction to design robust functional programs in a principled and systematic way! Well-Typed's Advanced Haskell

This two-day Haskell course gives you the chance to deepen your understanding and master some of Haskell's more advanced concepts.

In this course, you will learn all about:

-Haskell's evaluation mechanism and how to debug performance problems.
-Techniques and what data structures to use for getting the most idiomatic and best performing code.
-Abstractions offered for both concurrency and high-level, deterministic parallel programming, enabled by Haskell's explicit side effects.
