OpenSplice DDS: The High Performance Messaging for the Cloud
When firms are considering deploying high performance distributed applications, such as trading, scientific computing, etc., on the cloud, this raises two issues. The first is to ensure that the cloud provides the right technology for addressing the required level of scalability, latency and throughput. The second is to ensure that these technologies can be easily accessed from outside the cloud, for instance via RESTful API's and the like. This talk will showcase and demonstrate the OpenSplice DDS features that make it an appealing data distribution and data caching technology for the cloud.
