JAX London 2010: Doreen Seider on OSGi-based Workflow Engine
OSGi-based Workflow Engine
In this talk Doreen Seider introduces a platform developed during an aeronautics project, RCE. She presents it as a distributed OSGi-based software integration platform to provide a workflow engine, whereby all information about its workflow component (inputs and outputs) are described declaratively. The components and workflows in question are ran as OSGi services, whereby the component instances are created via OSGi component factories (or disguised as such factories) to allow simultaneous multiple instances.
