Droidcon London 2009: Martin Roth on RJDJ - the reactive music player
RJDJ - the reactive music player
RjDj, the reactive music player, has recently been ported to Android. This could not have been accomplished without extensive use of the Android Native Development Kit (NDK) originally released in June 2009 for Android 1.5 Cupcake.
In this session, Martin Roth gave a talk on RJDJ at droidcon london. Martin talks on when it might be helpful to develop native code for Android, and how this should be accomplished. Best practices were discussed, also including methods for debugging.
He also showed code examples and use the RjDj audio implementation as a case study.
