Find Your Ninja Project:Sky
Sky
At this event, around 10 Tech Companies will pitch their coding projects in a series of 5-minute lightning sessions to software developers looking for interesting, agile projects using progressive technologies.

Sky is a valued part of everyday life in over one in three homes throughout the country. As the boundaries between entertainment and communications disappear, we are helping our customers seize the exciting and inspiring new opportunities created by this technological revolution.

Innovation is at the very heart of our business – we’re lean, have a culture that believes in trying things out and learning through doing and take a truly Agile approach to the way we work. We've helped push boundaries with industry firsts like Sky+ HD, Sky 3D and, our latest development, Sky Go.

At Sky we use Agile methodology to help us deliver bespoke cutting edge solutions to millions of customers across the web, mobile, broadcast and interactive world.

We’ve also moved beyond traditional testing and developing and use the likes of Groovy & Grails, Cucumber, Ruby, Python, PostgreSQL, Jetty and Cloud computing.

From developing customer facing websites like Sky.com, to interactive TV and mobile apps like Sky Sports and Sky News for iPad to providing the technology behind our business critical customer systems, our focus is to always put the user in control and provide them with choice. CIS has a really broad remit, so you’ll get the chance to go far and do some really great things too.

We’re investing in growing our teams and developing our people to keep us ahead of the curve, so, if you’re a talented Technical Analyst, Agile Tester, Performance Tester, Web Developer or Software Engineer looking to influence the next generation of entertainment and communications technology, this is the place to be.

At Find Your Ninja we will be delivery 2 talks - one from our Mobile and Interactive team and a second by our Identity Team so come along and find out more!
