Spring Integration
In this talk, Jonas Partner introduces Spring Integration, a new Spring project which had its first release in December 2008. Spring Integration's focus is on the area of messaging and primarily, as the name suggests, addresses Enterprise Application Integration providing implementations of the Enterprise Integration Patterns identified by Gregor Hohpe and Bobby Wolf.
The talk gives practical examples of how Spring Integration can be used to ease the pain of integration though a testable lightweight approach and how you can start to add a little bit of service orientation to your existing Spring Applications. It also covers why Spring Integration != Spring ESB.
