Agile Specifications, BDD and Testing eXchange: Elizabeth Keogh on Fractal BDD
Fractal BDD
In this talk, co-authored with Eric Willeke, Liz will explore how the
higher-level principles behind BDD work consistently at every scale,
from analysis through to code and deployment. She introduces the
fractal BDD tree, the feedback loops within it, and the stakeholders
involved at each granularity. By mapping the concept of "Plan, Do,
Check, Act" to each step of the tree we see the same cycle of model,
implement, test and increment, with the same problems. We talk about
some principles which help to solve those problems, and resurrect the
V-model in its latest Lean incarnation.
