The mobile web - the future today?
The mobile eco system has been going through an incredible evolution when looking at the quality of browsers installed on mobile devices. Today you can write sophisticated mobile applications - cross platform - using JavaScript/HTML/CSS. I will give you an overview of the mobile platforms out there which you can use today, give you insight into strategies on how you can approach the challenge of writing code for different devices and show you the works of several challenging applications written entirely in JavaScript/HTML and CSS.

Nikolai Onken has been developing web applications since 1997 and since then never moved away from that route. He is committer of the Dojo Toolkit, co-founder of DojoCampus.org and co-founded uxebu in 2008.
