Progressive F# Tutorials: George Stavroulakis & Gian Ntzik on F# in the cloud: The present and the future
F# in the cloud: The present and the future
With the advent of cloud platforms, developers face once more the challenges of distributed computing in their effort to harness the available computing power. This talk will focus on how F# 2.0 can be used in Microsoft's Azure platform, in order to develop highly-scalable distributed applications and provide a hands-on experience in using F# in Azure. Finally, George and Gian talk about the M-Brace cloud framework and demonstrate how the same applications can be developed using M-Brace.
Your laptop should have Visual Studio 2010 and Azure Tools (preferably v1.5).
