Dirk Ginader from Yahoo! talks about accessibility and layers!
Along with having a key role in the overall design, layers must also be examined separately for building web applications with good accessibility.
Other than the standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript layers, he also talks about the "CSS for JavaScript" layer and the ARIA (Web Accessibility Initiative - Accessible Rich Internet Applications) layer.
With these tips and tricks about each layer, it is likely to be easier to keep one eye on the design and the other on the accessibility issues when using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
