SKILLS MATTER LTD
Skills Matter supports a community of 35,000 Software Professionals with the learning and sharing of skills to write better software.

We bring the world's leading thinkers and technology innovators to the UK to share their ideas and skills at over 2,000 talks, conferences and workshops each year. We also publish the Open Source Journal, a quarterly magazine for enterprise software experts passionate about software craftsmanship. Finally, we publish thousands of hours of SkillsCast video's featuring talks and demo's on topics that matter, from HTML5, Android and iPhone to F# and Scala, from DDD and CQRS to RDFa and NoSQL and from Lean, Kanban and Agile Leadership to Software Craftsmanship and Agile Testing. learn, innovate, share

Our community events are well known to be truly cutting edge and are really well attended. So much so we recently moved to a larger building to accomodate the ever growing audiences. Attracting substantial audiences of passionate developers and architects, these events provide a true platform for new innovators to create awareness about their ideas and technologies encourage discussion and get valuable feedback. We often recognise what's going to make a difference very early on, and are able to do this through our deep understanding of enterprise technologies and through our close engagement with the developer community - we love to hear new ideas and we listen.

Real Experts, Real Skills

All our workshops and talks are presented by leading industry experts, who are active contributors to the Open Source and Agile communities and popular international speakers. Most of the experts we work with are creators of various technologies and ideas or active contributors to open source projects. Their unrivalled expertise and hands-on development experience has proven invaluable to our customers.
