About the speakers...
After playing a leading role in Just Eat's move to Amazon Web Services and an API architecture, Andy helped found the Product Research department and now focuses on building new experiences for Just Eat’s customers and restaurant partners on new and emerging platforms including Alexa, Fire TV and Just Eat's robotic delivery trial with partners Starship.
Andy has a degree in Computer Science, 15 years industry experience and still likes to get his hands dirty coding and soldering when possible.
Outside of work Andy likes Japanese cars and guitars.
Iain has been a member of the management team since he joined Amazon in 2009. He setup and ran
Amazon Web Services UK Ltd as Managing director for 6 years. He joined Amazon appstore as Director/GM in January 2015.
Iain earned his honor’s degree in Computer Science. He lives in Hampshire and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two children. He is an Advanced Motorcycle Emergency Rider Volunteer for SERV Wessex, who run out of hours inter-hospital transport service for blood, platelets, and other blood products for use in transfusions. He also enjoys music, film and following London Irish rugby club.

About the speaker...
In 2012 Thomas started at Outplay Entertainment as Operations- and Analytics Manager. Based on Lean Startup principles, he established Data Analytics as key ingredient to make informed decisions for creating and running successful F2P Games. Consequently, with over 150 staff members, Outplay is now the largest independent Mobile Games Developer in the UK. Above all, Thomas believes that in order to be an effective Data Analyst, you need to have a deep understanding and passion for the game you are analysing.

Prior to Amazon, Lauren has experience in marketing and technology roles in the retail industry. When not checking out new apps and games, Lauren can be found exploring London, hiking, or skiing and has recently completed level A1 Spanish. Lauren holds an MBA from University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech.

Ian has almost 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, covering operations and engineering within hosting, telecommunications and cloud service providers. Prior to joining AWS, he lead a systems engineering team for an integrated software and hardware company that focused on the creation of cloud computing services with telecommunications and other IT service providers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
