Andy is the Principal Engineer of the Common Engineering team at Ordnance Survey. Under his leadership, Common Engineering act as an Enablement Team, with the mission to support all teams across the engineering department on their DevOps journeys. Through the team we promote and support CI/CD, infrastructure as code, inner-sourcing and cross-team knowledge sharing. We develop common tooling and platform architecture to support these goals. Andy is passionate about growing high performing teams through empowerment, mentoring, coaching and learning and development strategies. With around 15 years of experience working across technical domains at one of the world's leading national mapping agencies, today Andy works mainly in Microsoft Azure and .Net and is a champion for cloud native & serverless architectures.
