Audris Mockus was with Bell Labs for 21 years and is now Ericsson-Harlan Mills Chair Professor of Digital Archeology and Evidence Engineering at the University of Tennessee. He measures software development via recovery, curation, and analysis of digital traces from version control and other operation support systems. He created the World of Code measurement infrastructure comprising the entirety of open source software.
