Gawain Hammond is the Technical Lead for Sky’s Tech Futures innovation team and so is responsible for exploring innovation and supporting the implementation of innovative ideas at Sky.

Despite his disarming youthful charm, Gawain is a veteran technologist, proved by the fact that he has more photos of his old macs than his children.

With nearly two decades of software and technology experience as a system administrator and subsequently a software developer he has an expert understanding of what makes technology in organisations work. He is now applying his radical threories much to the bemusement of Sky’s very patient leadership team. Gawain enjoys every aspect of technology, but especially exploring the murky depths of software philosophy.
