Gene Gleyzer is an avid wind-surfer, a patron of the arts, the co-creator of the Ecstasy programming language, and the former architect of Oracle Coherence. Gene is a co-founder of xqiz.it, and previously was a co-founder of Tangosol, subsequently acquired by Oracle. He graduated Lviv University, Ukraine, and holds a PhD in complex analysis from Kharkiv University. He is the author of many patents in the distributed computing and data management arena.
