Has extensive knowledge and professional experience in R&D projects and software development, both in academia and industry. Integrated several R&D groups linked to the University of Porto and to the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Portugal. Formerly, he was an Invited Assistant Professor at the Computer Engineering Department - School of Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ISEP-IPP).
